POLICIES

Insurance & HSA/FSA

HSA/FSA

We proudly accept Health Spending Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) debit cards as payment options.
 

HSA and FSA debit cards work like personal savings accounts. However, the funds in the account can only go toward qualifying medical expenses. Check with your provider today for eligibility.


Insurance

P. Fleming Massage does not accept insurance at this time. We will provide a statement of service to the client for reimbursement from their insurance provider upon request.

Confidentiality & Conversation

We treat all client sessions and personal information as confidential. We will no disclose any private information without your written permission. The only exception to this policy is if there is a breach of our Zero Tolerance Harassment policy. In which case, any relevant information will be filed with our local police station.


Conversations during session will be guided by your lead. Therapists will not initiate conversation unless given direct consent. 

Zero Tolerance Harassment

Massage is strictly non-sexual, and P. Fleming Massage has a zero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind, including but not limited to solicitations for extras, suggestive comments, or inappropriate touch. Should you choose to engage in such behavior, the session will be immediately terminated/cancelled, you will be charged in full for your appointment, and you will be banned from booking further appointments. Authorities will be contacted for severe offenses and solicitation for prostitution.

COVID-19

All clients will be required to answer a COVID-19 screening questionnaire before each appointment. Clients must wear a face mask to our facility and during the duration of their session. P. Fleming massage will provide a mask, if needed, for an additional charge of $1.00. The refusal to comply with the mask mandate, will result in the session being canceled and a reservation fee equal to 100% of the session, will be charged to the card on file.


 These policies are subject to change as updates from the CDC are provided.


  • We  will not work with clients, or their household members, who are suspected positive or have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 30 days
  • We will not work with clients that have traveled outside of the country, or to any place that is or has been considered a “hot spot” for COVID-19 infections within the last 90 days.  
  • For their safety and by state recommendation, I will not work with vulnerable populations, as defined by NCDHHS.


New Client Booking & Referrals

All new clients are required to provide a credit card upon booking. This can be done quickly and easily through the online booking system. If you prefer to book over the phone, please leave a voicemail or text message. Missed calls without messages are not returned. 


For safety reasons, we have the right to furnish and check referrals for new clients.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hour notice. Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours prevent other clients from booking and will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 50% of the reserved services. Any no-call/no-show will result in a fee equal to 100% of reserved services. Any  appointments  cancelled  within  3  hours  of  your  scheduled  session  will  be  considered  a  no-show and  charged  accordingly.  Cancellation fees will be charged to your card on file.   In  the  event  that  we  cannot  charge  the  card  on  file,  an  invoice  will  be  posted.  


Booking  priveleges  will  be  suspened  until  the  fee  has  been  paid.  


3  infringments  on  this  policy  will  result  in  ineligibility  of  scheduling  future  appointment’s.  Please  keep  in  mind,  all  packages  and  gift  certificates  are  non-refundable.


COVID-19 UPDATE: Any client refusing to comply with the new guidelines, at time of service, will be charged 100% of reserved service.

Contraindications/Sick Policy

Massage is contraindicated when a client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or when a client presents symptoms of illness such as fever, diagnosed rash, or contagious infection. To protect the health and safety of both clients and therapist, your appointment will be rescheduled if presenting symptoms.  Please reschedule as soon as you begin feeling unwell to allow others to book in your place and  to  avoid  an y  associated  cancellation  fees.


All surfaces are sanitized between clients. All linens, including top blanket and towels are used for one session only before being laundered. Hand washing takes place before, after, and occasionally during a session. The sick policy is strictly enforced. However, as some diseases can be contagious while the carrier is asymptomatic, there are no guarantees against contracting illness, even with the most utmost care. Please take this into consideration if you or your loved ones have compromised immune systems.


Sessions  canceled  due  to  a  client  being  under  the  influence  of  drugs  or  alcohol  will  be  considered  a  no-show  and  a  fee  of  100%  of  the  service  will  apply. 

Late Clients

If you arrive late to your appointment, time may be taken from your session to avoid penalizing the following client. You will be charged the full amount for your session. 


If  we  do  not  hear  from  you  within  15  minutes  of  the  start  of  your  session,  it  will  be  considered  a  no-show  and  all  fees  apply..


If  you  are   going  to  be  more  than  15  minutes  late,  your  appointment  will  be  canceled  and  rescheduled   for  a  later  date.  Reschedules  due  to  lateness  will  result  in  a  late  cancellation  fee  of  50%  of  the  reserved  service.

Minors

A parent/guardian must complete a Parental Consent form for all client's under the age of 18.  For clients age 15 and under, the parent/guardian must always be present in the treatment room.  Clients 16/17 may be in the treatment by themselves if both client and guardian consent, however, guardian's must remain in the facility during session.

Intake Forms

All intake forms must be completed prior to your session. If your intake forms are not completed by end of day the day before your session, your appointment  Will be  canceled.
